She was Pakistan's first representative at the Miss Bikini Universe pageant. And that's not all. She was crowned as Pakistan’s first "Miss Bikini Universe”. This after she won the title of 'Best in Media Attention/Miss Press' Category at the Miss Bikini Universe pageant 2006 in China.
Miss Bikni Universe has always been passionate about the entertainment industry; she attended JLS make up school in Los Angeles and then completed her training in acting at the New York Film Academy and TVI actors’ studio. In addition to this training, Mariyah Moten graduated from University of Houston in 2008 with honors from the renowned hotel and restaurant management program at the Conrad N. Hilton College and continues to model in the US and Middle East.
A year later in 2007 Mariyah Moten participated in another pageant, Miss Asia International 2007 where she won 2nd Runner up, a huge victory for Pakistan since this was the first time Pakistan placed in the Top 3 at an international beauty contest.
In her own word, “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to represent Pakistan on this platform and hope to bring my countries name in positive limelight.”
